Vinnie Allegretta turned pro in 2012 and in 4 short years, has climbed into the top echelon of Trans Am drivers in the country. Vinnie is an avid race car driver, but unlike most, racing is not his number one priority, he is husband to his biggest fan Tina and they share boy/girl twins Vincent and Lilianna who give him more joy than he ever could have imagined.
Vinnie is a business owner who provides quality electrical craftsmanship to a discerning population in the “Hamptons” on Long Island, NY where Allegretta was born and raised. He is also partners with his wife Tina providing home automation and integration along with audio video products provided by some of the very best manufacturers in the business.

Vinnie got started in his racing career when he was just 11 years old in the mini motocross division on Long Island, New York where he was born and raised in Hampton Bays. He competed in the mini motocross for the first time at age 11 after getting on his first motorcycle at age 6. In his first year, he was in the top 10 in his age group and by the time he was 14, he was on the podium at almost every race. By 15, he was leading in points towards the championship and this was in the senior mini championship and was sponsored by Kawasaki in the 125 class. He started out in the C-group, onto B, was second in points. By the time he was 17, he had already won 10 races out of 12 in the school boy class in the 15 to 18 age group. He was an expert racer sponsored by Golden Spectro Oils and Action Motor Sports on Long Island, New York. At the age of 18 in the 125 A-class, he was the third in points. His parents were very involved, they were on many committees and orchestrated much of the racing that went on for the teenage age group on the Rocky Point Area, New Jersey, Bridgehampton to name a few, Suffolk Meadows in particular.
When Vinnie was 18, he started his vocational schooling to become a master electrician and began working full time. He worked for 10 years as an apprentice journeyman to eventually sit and take his master license exam. At age 28, Vinnie had always been a risk taker and had always wanted to take things to the highest extreme he could. In July 2004, he was operating his own business and in January 2006, he had formed a corporation and within the first year, he was in the $150,000 range, and by his third year in business, he was in the $1 million range. At age 30, Vinnie began to take a likening towards the pro-touring events such as Auto-crosses and began time trialing and always placing in the top three in all the competitions he was in.
He won Northeast Regional in 2011 at New Jersey Motor Sports Park to compete in the Optima Ultimate Street Car challenge. He placed third at the motor state challenge. He won in the road course as well as in the autocross. In 2012, he began wheel-to-wheel racing completely funded on his own and had begun setting track records and now was racing with NASA Northeast and AIX class in a 72 Camaro but had limited races as it was all self-sponsored.
In 2014, he joined the Super Unlimited class and was then on his route to racing towards the Trans Am class. In 2014, he raced his first Trans Am race and placed eighth at Lime Rock. In 2015, he ran two Trans Am races, took an eighth and a fifth. Street car time trial and NASA Northeast, he won again and began to set additional records in the Super Unlimited class. A 2015 track record at Thompson and Thunderbolt in his AIX car and has the world record quarter mile in a 2015 Corvette Z06 C7 up until right now at this time. He raced his first full Trans Am season only missing just a couple of races, completely self-funded by he and his business partner and wife, Tina Allegretta.
